Founded in 2025 in the UK, Altu is a contemporary creative studio exploring how we relate to modern life. It started with journals because reflection is where change begins. What began as a series of guided journals now extends across intentional movement, retreat experiences, and collaborative projects.

Each piece is considered for longevity, designed to exist beyond season or trend. And that same intention shapes everything we make. Thoughtfully made apparel. Quality tools for your rituals. Discoveries that earn their place in your life.

OUR FOUNDERS

Altu was founded by Claire and Avue.

Claire’s background spans across creative direction, brand strategy and product development within the fashion industry.

Her work has moved between the UK and the US, including a decade in Los Angeles and buying and design leadership roles with brands such as Topshop and Free People.

Avue brings over two decades of experience shaping cultural projects across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia. Working between London, Canada and Bali, his practice has moved fluidly between art, music and brand collaboration. He has curated exhibitions and cultural moments across international stages.
